Lockdown

It was a Saturday, in lockdown. People were inside there houses, no one to be seen on the streets.

Three boys were Brave, hopeful that the covid would stop. They said to them self we need to made this town happy and joyful.

The boys thought to themselves, “what to do what to do” Jaxion the third boy said “I have an idea, we should have a zoom call, it should be themed yellow and happy”.

Luke the the second boy said “yess yess yess”.

The boys made the call and it brought happiness to the town, it brought laughter to the town and they had an amazing day in lockdown.

  1. Hello Polly, I love the joyfulness of your story and the positive approach your characters took to being in lockdown. Zoom has made me happy in lockdown too. I really like how your story depicts people taking the initiative to solve a problem and to think of others and how to make them happy. Well done.

  2. Hello Polly,

What a topical story! Lockdowns have been a reality due to COVID so using it to share a positive way of bringing happiness to others by using a yellow themed ZOOM session would be a great idea. Well done.

  3. Hi Polly,
This was a lovely story, and I especially enjoyed the positive ending! Despite the challenge of using few words, you were able to build a full narrative that flowed throughout, and very nicely used the prompt through the link between yellow and happiness. I thought that this was a clever and creative touch.

    Well done, Anna (Team 100WC)
