Lockdown

It was a Saturday, in lockdown. People were inside there houses, no one to be seen on the streets.

Three boys were Brave, hopeful that the covid would stop. They said to them self we need to made this town happy and joyful.

The boys thought to themselves, “what to do what to do” Jaxion the third boy said “I have an idea, we should have a zoom call, it should be themed yellow and happy”.

Luke the the second boy said “yess yess yess”.

The boys made the call and it brought happiness to the town, it brought laughter to the town and they had an amazing day in lockdown.

The London Statue

It was Sunday morning in the Hays house, and they were going on a drive to go and see the rarest statue in London, it was a hour and a half drive.

1 hour and a half later…

They were here, it was like a misery you had to figure out and you got 3 chances to open the wall, to see the statue. If you got all 3 answers wrong you will never be allowed back!

We got 2 answers wrong, but we did get the last one right. We got to see the statue it was the best thing in the world. We took so many pictures and I hung them up in my bedroom.

The Trip To The Shops

It was a Sunday morning, and I was really bored so I decided I would visit the shops.

It was 10:00 am and my mum or my dad were busy, so they couldn’t drive me. My bike had a flat tire  so the only option was to walk, It was a long walk to the shops, about  3 kilometre.

I left home at 10:30 and got at the shops at 11:45. It was an 1 hour and 45 minute walk and I was tired, but I kept thinking of what I would do when I arrived at the shops.

I finally entered woolies, I panted. My eyes widened and I was happy to see the most delicious donut in the world.

The package

It was Monday when I realised they could fly. 3 month ago I was out in at the farm and I was on the quad bike riding it to go and get the mail for my grandpa.

He doesn’t normally get mail, but when he does he loves it. So every afternoon I go and check. This afternoon there was a package next to his mail box and it had holes in it. I was a bit scared to pick it up, and it had a live warning on it. So something was alive in it.

I bought it back to grandpa, he was so happy to get mail, we both opened it and there were 3 birds. They were in danger so that why we got them we were meant to let them go. I didn’t realise they couldn’t fly. So we went to the vet and the vet fixed them up and we let them go. They lived a very happy life, and every afternoon  they would come and visit.

The Village

It was the 26th  of June 2003, a Tuesday, and there was a village. It was a very happy place and many people in the world wanted to live and visit this village. It was called the Finder Of Happiness and it had a beautiful ocean view.

A girl named Charlotte was on her way to the village, she was 19 and alone.

Charlotte jumped straight in to the ocean, but then a flash of light, then darkness. Charlotte couldn’t see anything, she was under water.

But then, Charlotte sees light again. She had  a headache, but she did end up having and amazing time at the Finder Of Happiness Village.

Bounce

It is the 15th of May 2021, a Saturday, and I am really excited because my best friend, Mia is coming over for a play date

It is 9:00am and Mia and I are on the way to Bounce, the best trampoling place in Brisbane.  Now we are here, so we go inside, and go on the trampolines. Suddenly, darkness enveloped the room and we couldn’t see anything. People were screaming and bouncing into each other, it was pitch black. Then, POOF! Never mind, the light just turned off for a couple of minutes. Mia and I had the best day ever.

The 29th house

It was Wednesday the 16th of May, and there were about 30 houses in this street. At the 29th house, people wondered, did someone live there or was it just a house? No one knew.

Two boys lived in the same neighbourhood and they wanted to find out if someone lived there. They both decided to knock on the door.

The house had a long driveway and it wasn’t very clean, but the boys said, “lets go and knock on the door”.

So they did, they knocked on the door and… the door opened. A really nice lady came out and said “hey boys ,how are you?”

“We’re good,” said the boys. ” We just wanted to invite you to dinner”.

The lady said that she would love to come.

The Wilibe Family’s Friday Night

It was Friday night and the Wilibe family was at home. They had 3 children, Jo, Josh and James, 1 cat, 2 dogs, 3 birds, 5 chickens and 1 lizard.

They had put nothing out for dinner, so the parents said “Um, we can have… ok guys, we are going to have toast for dinner. Do you want honey on your toast?”

“Yes” said Jo.

“Sure” said Josh.

“No” James said, “I like Marmite. Can I please have that?”

“Sure” said the parents.

The dogs got their food, so did the cat, the birds, the chickens and the lizard. And of course the kids got their food.
